Best Personal Trainer Software in 2026

The cheapest platform is not necessarily the one with the lowest advertised price. Client limits, booking, payments, nutrition, branding and add-ons can materially change what you actually need to pay.

TransparentSoft compares software by the business you actually run. A coach with five remote clients has very different requirements from a hybrid trainer with 40 clients or a studio running classes. The table below is a starting point; the finder then matches plan fit to your client count, coaching model, required features and budget.

Prices shown are public list prices observed in September 2026 and can change. Taxes, transaction fees, promotions, annual discounts and optional add-ons are not included unless stated.

Why “starting at” can be misleading

Entry prices cover very different businesses. Trainerize's $9 Grow plan covers two clients, PT Distinction's $19.90 Basic plan covers three, Kahunas' $35 Essentials plan covers 25, while PTminder starts at $59 but covers up to 50. A meaningful comparison therefore needs your client count before it can compare price.

Which type of platform fits your business?

New online coach

Trainerize and Everfit both offer permanent free entry points. Everfit's paid Pro tiers then scale in relatively small client increments.

Workout-first remote coach

TrueCoach is strongly centered on programming, tracking and coach-client delivery, but self-service booking is not its core proposition.

Hybrid trainer

My PT Hub combines training delivery with 1-to-1 booking and payment processing. Trainerize can also support hybrid businesses, with some business functions available through add-ons.

Studio or class business

PTminder and Mindbody put more emphasis on scheduling, payments and operations. Mindbody is structurally a studio/business platform rather than a workout-programming-first coaching app.

Don't choose from a generic ranking.

How TransparentSoft evaluates software

We do not give a product extra points because it has an affiliate program. The Personal Trainer Software Finder scores coaching-model fit, required features, must-haves, client-count pricing and your stated priority. Products can also be disqualified when a must-have is missing.
